Are you thinking about how your funds can support a great cause in 2019? Read below to learn how we put it to work to support Bringing the Community Together! If you already know how, you can skip to the sponsor levels below.
The 21st Annual Avon Community Heritage Festival, which will be held on September 28, 2019, will benefit the citizens in the Town of Avon and the surrounding communities as a final outdoor social event to end the summer. Last year’s attendance was tracked and calculated to be at or above 8,000 people. This day is an opportunity for family, friends, and community leaders to spend the day making memories and developing relationships. It is a great time to see and be seen! Each year we are adding new events and thinking of ways to draw more individuals and families to the festival. In 2018 we added “a 40’ Log Jammer Slide” to the list of many fun things for kids and adults to do! It was a blast and was always full of people. We also added the Festival after Dark at the lower level of the Park. This incorporated food vendors, bounce houses, live entertainment and a beer garden! We will continue to have the legacy events such as the Talent Show Semi-Finals at the Town Hall the night before and the Festival Parade the morning of to help kick off the event. Once the parade ends the festival begins at the Washington Township Park, where a free family friendly event will take place. Some of the main attractions have been a cover band, Pony Rides, Petting Zoo, Inflatables for the kids of all ages, the annual dog adoption to place homeless pets into loving homes, talent show finals, and a variety of other entertaining events to showcase talent from Avon and across Hendricks County! There is literally something for everyone! This year for 2019 the festival will have two parts. The kid and family event as always at the top of the park. Then at 6 pm the festival will move to the lower part of the park near the Pavilion where there will be a live band, beer garden, food vendors and play area for those with kids. Finally, your evening ends with a bang as you experience a spectacular firework show.
The Annual Tree Lighting, which will be held on December 7, 2019, is also a great social event to start the Holiday Season. Families are able to come out to the town hall and enjoy FREE music, hot chocolate and cookies, crafts, photos with Santa, the Trackless Train Ride, count down the lighting of the tree, and end with the only fireworks show in Hendricks County in December!
We have sponsor levels available from $100 up to $10,000. The levels are listed below. We also have a PDF version if you prefer to view all level details on one page.
