The 2020 Festival: Better together!
Saturday, September 26, 2020 from 4-9 pm
The Avon Community Heritage Festival has always been about creating a fun, family-friendly atmosphere where kids and adults can enjoy a day outside among friends and others in the community.
That's why we're so excited to come together as a community this fall and celebrate our strength, our resilience, and our love for one another.
Instead of bounce houses, this year we'll kick things off with the 'Hue Are Essential' 5K Color Throw and Fun Run at 4pm followed by a trivia contest at 6 pm, and a concert by Crowd Therapy at 7 pm.

Instead of bounce houses, this year we'll kick things off with the 'Hue Are Essential' 5K Color Throw and Fun Run at 4pm followed by a trivia contest at 6 pm, and a concert by Crowd Therapy at 7 pm.
We'll also have craft and business vendors, food trucks, a beer garden, a chance to connect with local officials on Democracy Row, and a special presentation to recognize our essential workers at 6:45pm. And of course, it wouldn't be the Heritage Festival without our signature fireworks to close the night at 9pm.
Parking is still FREE! Admission is FREE! The concert, trivia, and fireworks are FREE!
This year's first-ever 5K is a fundraiser for the festival itself and all proceeds from the luminaries will go to a local organization that is working to provide financial relief in this community (to be determined at the August Festival Board meeting).
We are always looking for sponsors to help keep the festival free. Please click the link below to become a sponsor. Thank you!
The Avon Community Heritage Festival takes the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic seriously. We are carefully monitoring the Governor's orders and planning accordingly. We will keep you informed of alternations or cancellations both here and on our Facebook page. Please stay tuned for updates as the situation evolves.
If you attend the festival, you understand that you may be exposed to Coronavirus.
